Project Awards
The outstanding projects completed during the past year are recognized with an AWCA AWARD of EXCELLENCE.
These awards recognize the workmanship, the artistry, the innovation, and the successful execution of projects completed by AWCA member companies and their personnel. In the words of AWCA Past President Max Welz, “these projects with their scope, vision, and grandeur literally dare to challenge, dare to change.”
The goals of the awards program are to:
• Recognize individuals and AWCA member companies for their contribution toward excellence in the wall and ceiling industry in Alberta
• Increase awareness amongst the construction community and the public about the broad scope of outstanding work our members perform
Members Choice Awards
These awards recognize manufacturers, suppliers and community partners that show excellence in their operations.
Nominations are accepted throughout the year with an announced final call to Members for nominations in the beginning of September and the awards are presented at an AWCA Awards cocktail party in December.
2026 Nominations
Entry Deadline: October 15
The projects will be judged on design, job site innovation and/or conditions, quality of workmanship, use of materials and overall effect.
