The Alberta Wall and Ceiling Association (AWCA) is a non-profit trade association representing the Lather Interior Systems Mechanics (ISM) scope of work.

It serves to unite contractors, manufacturers, and distributors in proactively promoting the wall and ceiling industry, and educating the public and the government about industry issues.

The AWCA is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of volunteer members from regions and sectors of the industry;
Contractors, Distributors, and Manufacturers.

  • Stakeholder Relations.

Maintain achievable and consistent standards that meet or exceed regulatory requirements. We provide professional support and mentoring to members and the public. We are governed by our code of ethics, our bylaws and our policies to ensure fair practices.

Sustainability

Develop opportunities for member companies to actively engage in recruitment, training, education standards and professional development to sustain the wall and ceiling industry.

Safety

Promote a safe work environment. Promote and advocate safety education. Contribute to the design and construction of safe buildings.

Innovation

Promote and celebrate the unique and innovative projects, products and services that showcase members’ skills, talents and achievements.
