About AWCA
The Alberta Wall and Ceiling Association (AWCA) is a non-profit trade association representing the Lather Interior Systems Mechanics (ISM) scope of work; aka, Alberta’s wall and ceiling industry since 1972. It serves to unite contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers in proactively promoting the wall and ceiling industry, and educating the public and the government about industry issues. Our scope includes:
- Gypsum wallboard
- Interior plaster
- Suspended ceilings
- Steel framing
- Stucco
- EIFS
- Spray-on fireproofing
