    The Alberta Wall & Ceiling Association (AWCA) is a non-profit organization. Our “Mission Statement” declares that “The Alberta Wall & Ceiling Association is the Provincial voice of the wall and ceiling industry, providing and promoting technical information to our membership, the construction industry, the general public, government and other associations.” The Alberta Wall & Ceiling Association’s membership includes those companies exemplifying the highest standards within our industry including contractors, distributors, manufacturers and associates related directly to the wall& ceiling industry in Alberta.

AWCA Members are bound by the provisions, obligations and requirements contained in the Association’s “By-Laws” and agree to comply with the standards in the Association’s “Code of Ethics.” Members of AWCA meet several times each calendar year in various locations throughout Alberta to address concerns facing our industry to determine priority issues requiring the focused attention, energies and resources of the Association.

    In addition to regularly scheduled meetings, AWCA provides funding for Lather - Interior Systems Mechanic apprenticeship training, and has partnered with Careers:The Next Generation to develop a program aimed at promoting and creating career opportunities for Alberta’s high school students (AWCA RAP DRAFT), and our Technical, Environment & Safety Committee ensures our members are up to date with the latest information including offering a QC Peer Review Program for members . In addition, numerous networking opportunities are organized including regular lunch/toolbox meetings, golf tournaments, a sporting clay shoot and Christmas celebrations. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire AWCA membership, we welcome your interest in our Association and further, welcome the opportunity to discuss the benefits of joining our Association with you.

    Applicants must submit the names and contact information of two (2) current AWCA members which would serve as references.




    Associate
    Associate Membership includes professionals such as lawyers, engineers, inspectors, and architects, along with affiliated associations, and educational bodies etc. Associate Members have all membership rights and privileges except voting. They may not hold office, but are encouraged to serve on Committees.
